John Hunter
I was born in Arthur, Ontario. Graduated from Queen’s (BA in Political Science) and from Carleton (Master of Public Administration). Worked during the university summers as a labourer-teacher with Frontier College in a bush camp, a mining camp and a hydro construction project. Worked for the Canadian Federal Government for 32 years (10 years in the Foreign Service, and 22 years in the domestic service.) Following retirement, I worked as a consultant in Canada, Portugal, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, the Kingdom of Jordan and Azerbaijan. I am married to Patricia (Pat), and we have three children and 4 grandchildren.
